Stoneygate Farm Shop was founded in 2013 by Malcolm and Bernadette Tennant.  Nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire, between the market town of Richmond and the village of Ravensworth, the farm is home to a pedigree herd of Shorthorn cattle, rare breed outdoor pigs and a flock of native breed sheep and lambs.

From grassroot beginnings, selling meat to family and friends, the farm quickly expanded its offering which saw the team regularly spending their weekends at the Richmond Market. Once the general public tasted the delicious homegrown produce coming from Stoneygate, a permanent, on-site farm shop where customers could enjoy the real ‘from field to fork’ experience, soon followed.

Today, Stoneygate Farm Shop boasts its own integrated on-site butchery, a deli providing a wonderful variety of homegrown or home-baked goods and a cosy café where customers can enjoy the fruits of the farm whilst taking in the beauty of the surrounding countryside on the outdoor terrace (when the Yorkshire weather allows it!).
